Frannie is designed for two people: the person having the conversations, and the family member who wants to know they're okay.
"It's nice to have someone to talk to who actually pays attention."
For many older adults, a regular friendly conversation matters as much as the check-in itself. Frannie is good company. It asks about their day, remembers what they've shared, and picks up where things left off. No forms to fill out, no buttons to press.
"I don't have to wonder how she's doing anymore."
After each check-in, Frannie's AI reviews the whole conversation and gives you a summary of how it went: what they talked about, how they seemed, and anything worth noting. It learns what's normal for your loved one, so it can spot patterns and flag changes over time.
Every check-in builds on the last. Frannie keeps track so your loved one never repeats themselves, and turns each conversation into a clear summary of how they're doing.
A push notification arrives at the scheduled time. Your loved one taps to open the check-in right in the app.
Your loved one speaks and Frannie listens, asks follow-up questions, and keeps the conversation going, like catching up with someone who knows them.
Frannie keeps track of what's been shared and brings it up naturally next time. Things that are resolved don't keep coming back.
Frannie's AI reviews the whole conversation and sends you a short summary after each check-in: how they seemed, what came up, and anything worth following up on.
Unlike a simple reminder call, Frannie has a real conversation, remembers what it's been told, and surfaces meaningful insight into how someone is really doing over time.
Frannie keeps track of the people, pets, appointments, and interests that matter to your loved one, and brings them up naturally in later conversations.
Tell Frannie what to pay attention to: a health concern, a pet's wellbeing, an upcoming appointment. It checks in on those things as part of the conversation.
If your loved one wears a fitness tracker, Frannie can factor in sleep, steps, and heart rate, shown in your summaries as helpful context, not medical advice.
Frannie's AI turns every conversation into a clear picture of how your loved one is doing, plus the tools to step in when something needs attention.
Set up your loved one's profile, check-in schedule, and background information in one place.
Flag specific things for Frannie to check on. They come up naturally in conversation, not as a list of questions.
Frannie surfaces patterns in mood, energy, sleep, and routine over time, so you notice changes before they become concerns.
If a check-in is missed, Frannie notifies you in stages so you can respond calmly and at the right level.
Frannie's AI remembers what your loved one has shared and adapts to how they like to talk, so over time a check-in feels less like answering questions and more like talking to a friend.
Names of family members, pets, doctors, health concerns, and upcoming events are remembered and woven into future conversations naturally.
Some people like short exchanges. Others enjoy longer conversations. Frannie picks up on this and adapts without needing to be told.
You tell Frannie what to watch for. Those things come up on their own, without your loved one feeling questioned or scrutinized.
Over time, Frannie learns whether someone likes jokes, finds trivia fun, or prefers to keep things simple, and adjusts accordingly.
Daily quotes and trivia are chosen to match what they like. Things they've enjoyed are remembered; things they didn't are set aside.
Frannie varies how it says things so conversations don't feel like the same script every day, even when covering similar ground.
Frannie tries your loved one first, then lets you know in stages. You have time to respond at each step rather than receiving one urgent alert with no context.
Frannie sends a couple of follow-up reminders directly to your loved one. Snoozing here keeps caregiver alerts paused.
A quiet push notification to the primary caregiver, just a soft signal to be aware.
Push notifications go to everyone in the caregiver network, with SMS as a fallback. Still calm, not an alarm.
Push, SMS, and WhatsApp to all caregivers. Time to check in through other means.
You receive summaries of how check-ins went. If wearable data is available, it may be included as helpful context.
Frannie is not an emergency service. If you are concerned about immediate safety, please contact emergency services directly.

Frannie is designed to be helpful without being intrusive. Here is what it does and does not do.
Frannie only listens during a check-in or when your loved one opens the app to talk. There is no ambient monitoring. Check-ins can be snoozed, skipped, or dismissed at any time.
Voice conversations are processed securely and never shared as a live feed. You receive a summary and transcript of each scheduled check-in, while everyday Talk conversations stay private to your loved one.
If health topics come up, for people or pets, Frannie can share general information from trusted public sources. It does not diagnose or give medical advice, and for anything urgent it directs your loved one to call for help.
Frannie is friendly and patient, not clinical or condescending. It doesn't repeat questions about things already resolved, and it follows the lead of the person it's talking with.
Takes a few minutes to set up. From there, Frannie does the rest.
